As you will see there's a lot to explore and do in Sortifyd, but for a start, here are three easy tasks to get you started. These will get you comfortable with the core features and functionality in Sortifyd.
- Create 2-3 essential lists. Your daily priorities, groceries, things you want to organize in Sortifyd. (See Creating lists and adding tasks)
- Add family events to the calendar. Daily/weekly routine, birthdays, fun activities, vacation dates. (See Adding events to the Sortifyd calendar)
- Save photos of 2-3 key documents. Your driver’s license, Covid vaccination card, birth certificate. (See Adding records, Adding Photos, PDFs, and URLs)
Once you have gained some familiarity with the basics of Sortifyd through the above tasks, add your family members to your account and start collaborating. (See Adding family members)
- Assign tasks from your lists. Got tasks but can’t find the time? Assign them to family members. (See Creating lists and adding tasks)
- Share your calendar events. Add members to family events. Keep everyone in the loop. (See Adding events to the Sortifyd calendar)
- Share access to key documents. Keep your family in the know. Share access to important documents but set permissions as you please. (See Customizing user permissions/access, Making a record or list private)
A couple of more things, and then you'll be all set to start your own journey.
- Add attachments to your lists. Attach photos to list items for quick reference (ex. that bulb you need to buy). (See Creating lists and adding tasks)
- View your tasks on the calendar. Add reminders to your to-dos and see them show up on your calendar. (See Creating lists and adding tasks)
- Search your account by keyword. Easily find any document, calendar event, or list item you’ve added so far. (See Searching your Sortifyd account)
