Grocery lists, task lists, shopping lists, gifts to purchase, to-dos, chores, movies to watch, books to read, recipes, meal plans, packing lists, bucket lists, habits, goals, and so much more! With Sortifyd you can create any type of list you need. You can even add attachments or photos, add due dates and reminders, or assign items to anyone you add to your Sortifyd account. All your tasks with due dates and times also appear on your Sortifyd calendar.
Here's how you can get started with lists in Sortifyd:
- Navigate to the Lists screen by tapping the
icon on the tab bar at the bottom of the home screen.
- Select a category that relates to the list you would like to create. (Ex. Chores list in Home & Money as shown above).
- Add a new list. Lists can be created in any one of the ten categories in one of two ways:
- Browse and add: Tap over the label of the category (ex. Home & Money) to see a list of all current lists in that section. In the screenshot above, the Home & folder already has five lists as the count on the right indicates. On tapping, the next screen will show you a list of those lists. You can navigate to an existing list by tapping on it, or you can tap Add list on that screen to create a new list. The screen with the "list-of-lists" view also has a
icon on the bottom-left that pops up a hint note for quick reference.
- Direct add: As you get more familiar with the contents of your categories, you can directly add a new list by tapping the
button to the right of the list count on the Lists screen. This bypasses the list-of-lists view and directly creates a new list in that category.

Hint: You can also copy a list from a different application on your device (ex. your text messages, email, notepad app) and paste it onto this screen to be able to import it into your Sortifyd list. Just make sure you add line breaks between items so there is only one list item per line.
