The home screen is designed to provide a simple, intuitive, and clutter-free interface to help you easily access the various features of Sortifyd.
Key elements of the home screen
Weather: Just below the greeting, you will find a card that displays the current local weather and date for your quick reference. (Hint: By tapping the Powered by OpenWeather label below the weather card, you will also be able to see the weather forecast as maintained by OpenWeather on their website.)
Today: This section gives you a quick overview of your tasks or calendar events scheduled for the day. Tapping on a card in this section takes you directly to a screen with details for that task or event. You can also View all upcoming and past events and tasks by navigating to the Calendar screen. Plan: You can quickly add a to-do list/task or a calendar event by tapping Add in this section. (See Creating a list, Adding an event to the calendar)
Organize: Each of the nine boxes in this section leads you to a pre-defined folder structure for that category, allowing you to thoughtfully organize your records, documents, account information, passwords, pictures, notes, and lists related to that category. (See Adding a record, Creating a list)
Involve: This section shows you all family members that you have added to your shared account. You can also add family members directly from here by tapping Add Family Member. (See Adding family members)
Learn: The Learn section has three card sets. The first, Your help center, brings you directly to this Support Guide which you can quickly search by keyword for answers on a number of topics. The second one gives you access to the latest articles from the Sortifyd blog on our website where we share relevant knowledge articles, tips & tricks, and user stories. The third one shows you the latest posts from our social media feed where we share tips on how to organize your life with Sortifyd.
Share: This section gives you an easy way to Tell a friend about Sortifyd, Share a review on the App Store or Google Play, or Give us feedback.
Message board: The 
icon on the top-right of the home screen takes you to the message board which provides you a private and secure communication channel with your family. The message board will also keep you updated on any document or record changes. A red dot over the icon indicates that you have unread messages. (See Viewing and broadcasting messages)
Search: The 
icon on the tab bar at the bottom of the home screen takes you to the search screen where you can easily find anything in your Sortifyd account. (See Searching your Sortifyd account)
Calendar: The 
icon on the tab bar at the bottom of the home screen navigates to your shared family calendar, where you can view and add events and reminders. (See Adding an event to the calendar)
Lists: The 
icon on the tab bar at the bottom of the home screen takes you to a screen where you can view and create lists by category, corresponding to each of the nine boxes, or other ad hoc lists. (See Creating a list)
Notifications: The 
icon on the tab bar at the bottom of the home screen navigates to a notifications screen with various types of reminders and alerts. A red circle with count over the icon shows you the number of unread notifications requiring your attention. (See Viewing notifications)
Account: The 
icon on the tab bar at the bottom of the home screen takes you to a screen where you can manage account level settings, add family members, and access support resources. (See Adding family members)
Quick Add: Tapping 
just above the tab bar at the bottom of the screen opens up a menu that allows you to quickly add an event, a list/item, a journal entry, broadcast a message, or add photos/ documents to a record in a folder in any of the nine boxes.
Returning to the home screen
As you navigate through the app, you can quickly return to the home screen by tapping the 
icon that you will find at the top right of most screens.
