Routine Reminders are simple, customizable prompts that help you stay on track with the things that matter most, even when they’re not on your to-do list. Whether it’s reviewing your priorities, logging expenses, or taking a mindful pause, these reminders gently guide you to the right part of the app at the right time.
Note: Routine Reminders are currently available on iOS. We’re working on bringing them to Android in a future update.
Built-in reminders to get you started
Sortifyd includes a handful of pre-made Routine Reminders to help you build helpful rhythms right away, such as reviewing your to-dos, logging your spending, or planning your week.
Some of these are enabled by default, while others are saved as suggestions and can be turned on whenever you’re ready. You can tap any reminder to edit it, or simply toggle it off if you don’t need it right now.
Need to remove a reminder entirely? Just swipe right to left on it from the main Routine Reminders screen, then tap Delete.
How to create a Routine Reminder
If you’d like to add your own custom reminders, it’s quick and easy:
From the Routine Reminders screen, tap + Add Reminder.

Fill in the details:
- Reminder Name: This appears as the title of the notification. Choose something short and clear, and consider adding an emoji to make it instantly recognizable (e.g., “🧹 Clear Your Space”).
Reminder Message: This appears as the message body. Add a helpful nudge or prompt (e.g., “Declutter one spot today”).
Time to Remind: Choose when you’d like the notification to arrive.
Repeat On: Select which days of the week it should repeat.
Open This Screen: Choose where the reminder takes you (e.g., Lists, Calendar, Notes, etc.).
Tap Save in the top-right corner when you’re done.
Your reminder will now appear in your list. Just make sure it’s toggled on so you receive the prompt at the right time.
