The home screen is divided into three main sections:
Navigation Bar (Top Section):
- Syd, Sortifyd's Friendly Mascot: Tap on Syd to explore a menu offering support articles, updates, and a feedback form to connect with us directly.
- Notifications: Stay informed about pivotal dates and reminders, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks. (See: Viewing notifications.)
- Message board: Engage in secure communications with your family, and also receive updates on document or record changes in your shared account. (See: Viewing and broadcasting messages.)
- Search: Quickly find what you need within your Sortifyd account with a comprehensive keyword search feature. (See: Searching your Sortifyd account.)
Main Canvas (Middle Section):
The canvas features a scrollable feed view comprising distinct card sets, each designed with a unique purpose in mind:
Morning Brief: Enjoy a welcoming greeting paired with a weather update and a dash of daily motivation, plus a refer-a-friend option to spread the joy of Sortifyd. (Hint: Tap the 'Powered by OpenWeather' label below the weather card to view the forecast on the OpenWeather website.)
- Plan: Elevate your daily planning with a customizable card set inspired by traditional paper planners. With the flexibility to add, remove, and rearrange cards according to your preferences, you can swiftly navigate through your daily schedule, tasks, and notes. The planner allows you to integrate cards for scheduled events, tasks for the day, meal plans, your most frequented lists, and quick journal entries, each one adapted to fit your unique daily flow. - Organize: Quickly access the Organizer, your gateway to nine life management categories, offering dedicated screens to add and review information for each. (See: Adding a record, Adding recipes.)

Tab Bar (Bottom Section):
Here, you’ll find quick access icons for Home, Lists, Calendar, Organizer, and Account, guiding you through Sortifyd’s various functionalities.
Home: Tap the Home icon to navigate back to the home screen swiftly, ensuring efficient navigation.
Lists: Create and view categorized lists, aligning with each of the nine boxes, or craft ad hoc lists as per your needs. (See: Creating a list.)
Calendar: Manage and view your family's events and reminders with ease. (See: Adding an event to the calendar.)
- Organizer: Your personal space to manage records, files, passwords, photos, and more. (See: Adding a record.)
- Account: Control account settings, manage family member additions, and access various support resources conveniently.
- Quick Add: Positioned just above the tab bar, tap to swiftly add an event, list/item, record/attachment, or journal entry.
Remember, the Sortifyd home screen is the hub of your family's organization, designed to give you an at-a-glance overview of everything you need to manage your day, while providing quick and easy access to the tools you need most.
